How would one check if these relays could work?

I think they will:

can learn 2272 2262 or 1527 chip with the different code wireless 433MHz remote control.

and rcswitch is compatible with these protocols

Will do, have ordered them, takes about 45 days.

Is there anything special I have to do for the ‘learning’ mode, or will button press send codes?

Problem is that I have buttons that looks similar, (the photo I posted) but cannot get those to work.

I don’t know for this device but typicaly you just press a remote button when pressing the pairing button and capture with OMG this signal (can be in 2 separate times)

Even with ESP8266 & Receiver ?

Yes, even with only running on esp8266

Ordered and Tested. It works on Sonoff RF Bridge.

Only problem is … It ony has a receiver, thus no ACK back from it. 8-(
