Because i try to limit the wifi usage with the smarthome application, and when it’s possible i use Ethernet.

I also try to reduce WiFi to a minimum for automation. I’m just wondering, why there is no hardware developed yet with the ESP32 and the Ethernet interface? There are so many development boards out there using the LAN8710A chip. Then you can use the gateway over Ethernet connection and also have good antenna for BLE!
