Hi, I currently have a M5Stack Atom USB that works great as a BLE gateway. The firmware selection in the list web-uploadable firmware worked without any issues. I have an M5Stack IR emitter and receiver added to it, but I need to assign an IO to it. I’m very familiar with Tasmota, which easily allows you to assign an IO through a menu interface. Is there an easy way to assign a duty to an IO after uploading firmware? If not, I assume the firmware would need to be customized before uploading, but I can’t determine where that change would need to be made. I have used PlatformIO briefly in the past, so I believe with some guidance I could make this change. I have searched the documentation and the forum, but haven’t found any description on how to accomplish this.
Likewise, I have a LilyGo T-Embed CC1101 which is currently unused, on which I would like to install OpenMQTTGateway. It does read the devices I’m interested in monitoring, but again, I would appreciate some guidance on customizing the firmware if possible. (looking to make it into an RF gateway)
I’m still pretty novice at programming Arduino, but not completely uncomfortable examining the code. Thanks, any advice is appreciated.
