Is there a way to add a new unsupported IR device?

I’m looking for a way to control my electric fireplace that uses an IR remote. I don’t see the brand under supported devices. Is there a way for the program to “learn” the IR commands from the remote?

Did you try to point your remote in the receiver direction. You may receive a decoded signal or at least a raw signal that you can reuse.
