LILYGO TTGO 433mhz becomes unresponsive

Which version do you see into the SYStoMQTT topic?

{“uptime”:36494,“version”:“v1.7.0”,“disc”:false,“ohdisc”:false,“env”:“lilygo-rtl_433”,“freemem”:101436,“mqttp”:“1883”,“mqtts”:false,“msgprc”:1415,“msgblck”:0,“maxq”:3,“minmem”:41852,“tempc”:56.11,“freestck”:1952,“eth”:false,“rssi”:-30,“SSID”:“hydro2”,“BSSID”:“40:47:5E:97:49:86”,“ip”:“192.168.5.30”,“mac”:“14:2B:2F:B9:70:30”,“modules”:[“LilyGo_SSD1306”,“WebUI”,“rtl_433”]}

This is the production version, try the development one from there:

Updated and erased mem - configured it - verified updated to c5b9bc, then tried UI firmware update, latest and then dev. The c5b9bc version persisted across both update attempts. Went back to 1.70 same persistance of ver 1.70.

So that is where I went wrong - not realizing that the update bin file wouldn’t have a dev in its filename and relying on UI to correctly link to dev version. I suspect that the UI firmware update is just rebooting the device without performing the update.

Thank you for your assistance and you can close this

Hi,
I post to provide a bit of feedback.
Recently I updated to v1.7.0.
After that, the Lily TTGo started to reset… continuously… with not more that 16 second of uptime… sometime reached up to 200 seconds… but the OMG could only post the first MQTT message.
I tried the reset tool proposed in the this post )I did my due diligence) but nothing changed.
Then I tried the FSK one, the resets disappeared… but it could not detect any sensor (there are like 200 within my neighborhood).
So I tried this one (development), and the reset disappear and it manage to read sensors. Just for you to consider to move this as a new release.
So for now, I am ok.

In parallel I ordered a new board, just in case it was case of corrupted memory… I can provide feedback in case of need.
If you need additional tests, logs or trials with the main branch of the v1.7.0 to figure out something… please let me know, happy to help
