I’ve posted some time ago about MQTT Explorer seeking for a maintainer.
At the time tho, it had a very restrictive licence that prevented forks.
It took some time, but we managed to talk to the original developer (Thomas Nordquist) and he gladly accepted to relax the licence in order to allow forks and non commercial development:
I know I posted about it not too long ago, but I think this news could be very relevant for users of OpenMQTTGateway, since MQTTExplorer is considered by many the prime tool for MQTT debugging.
Being not a programmer, the only thing I can do is try to spread the word, and asking people who like me cares about MQTT Explorer development to do the same in relevant places .
Thanks to anyone who is willing to help, and please do write me for any question, as I’m open to coordinate the effort, if necessary.
