By way of an update I have the same successful results as Denis when flashing back to v0.9.4
As a quick test I grabbed a copy of v0.9.4 rfbridge-firmware.bin and flashed using esptool.py (esptool.py --port /dev/{your-serial-device} write_flash -fm dout 0x00000 ~/Downloads/rfbridge-firmware.bin) and I am now seeing messages arrive on MQTT
