SRFBHADiscovery module on mqtt topic SYStoMQTT - should RF work?

Hi, on theSonoff RF Bridge, with .bin flashed v 0.9, I get, every 2 min, on the topic
home/OpenMQTTGateway/SYStoMQTT , the following: {"uptime":360,"freeMem":45104,"rssi":-72,"SSID":"TheStorm","modules":"SRFBHADiscovery"}.

Should RF work with this module only?

What does the standard SONOFF_RFBRIDGE_OpenMQTTGateway_V09.ino.bin have uncommented in User_config.h, only #define ZgatewaySRFB "SRFB" ?

Problem is, I am sitting 4 old types of remotes, and I am getting no response back from RF, want to ensure the bridge is correct before buying other remotes to test.
