Trying to order 315 MHz receiver - What's the difference between "with coding" (re: AliExpress)

I’m looking to order an RXB6 receiver to use with 315 MHz and I’ve found this listing:

However, they have a 315 module “with coding” and “without”.

Does anybody know what that means?

I honestly don’t know.

maybe go for one where there isn’t any choice, and you also get a transmitter with it.

This looks like my 433MHz ones, and is also the SRX882/SRX882S - STX882 version recommended on the OpenMQTTGateway RF pages.
