GS-WDS07 433Mhz Door sensor with open/close status

Here is some infos about an OMG compatible Door sensor mainly interesting by the fact it send a signal for open status and a different signal for close status of the door.

Power consumption
When sending signal (open or close) 30mA during around 1s
Sleep current 27uA continuously

Duration estimation
AAA battery capacity is 1000mAh
4 sending per day -> 4* 30/3600 = 0,033mAh per day for sending
Sleep current per day ->0.027mA * 24 =0,648mAh per day for sleep
Total per day: 0,681mAh
1000/0,681=1468 days -> around 4 years

Hi, few days ago I get the same but with option that send status also when you try to remove it. I think that aslo send status when battery is low, we will see. I have problem with range when it is connected to metal door (max 3m range).

Yes I think also that it would send status when battery low.
Did you get exactly the same codes or are they differents?

The first one looks great and the price is excellent, especially with the use of a common AAA battery.
I don’t see a temper sensor on it, but for me at least its not needed.

What kind of range did you get indoors?

I’ve ordered this one for leakage detection to place near my washing machine and refrigerator since its the only one i’ve found which (supposedly) sends a low voltage alert:

Now i’m looking for a low power stand-alone learning RF receiver which will trigger a wireless motor+battery device that will unlock all the internal doors in the house when someone is home.
